Yesterday, Universal Pictures announced they will completely remake the classic film, “Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?”, after receiving complaints for its “extremely sexist title”.

Ronald Meyer, UP’s CEO, said, “It’s been a few years coming, but we finally pulled the trigger on modernizing the old-timey style classic. Not to worry though, It’s going to be the same cast playing the same ole story everyone knows and loves. We’re just getting rid of some outdated ideas and replacing them with new ones.”
According to UP’s website, the primary changes will be to the main title, music, and not re-enforcing gender roles. The new movie, known as “Oh Sibling, Where Art Thou?”, will have a mostly new score composed by modern country legend Keith Urban, with guest performances by Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, and Taylor Swift. All four musicians will join forces singing "Human Being Of Constant Sorrow", a remake of the first film's most popular song, featuring no acoustic instruments.
"Angel Band", the closing song, will also be replaced with "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X. “We’re hoping the new Country Pop sound will attract a younger audience,” said James Cameron, the producer for this project. “Not that we don’t like the old folks, it’s just that we already got their money with the first one.”
